About this entry: The CRD Dashboard is an interactive dashboard that captures the Constituent Research & Development (CRD) team's key metrics and performance indicators, enabling the team to make informed decisions and develop data-driven strategies to enhance the quality of Development Officers' work. The dashboard provides a high-level overview of 1) the number of prospects who have been identified, 2) the number contacted after identification, and 3) the number who have given a gift after identification, providing the team with next steps that need to be taken to ensure high-quality prospects are being identified and contacted. The dashboard also provides a more detailed breakdown of prospects identified, including what source the prospect was identified from (e.g., LinkedIn, gift reports, data segmentation, etc.), what program area the prospect was recommended for, their current assignment status, capacity rating, constituency, if they’ve been contacted, and gift status. Additionally, the dashboard provides insights into the number of research requests and donor profile requests made each month to identify busy seasons. The CRD team, and Senior Leadership, can also see how many portfolio updates and capacity rating updates have been made in the database, which speaks to another area of our work that has not been directly highlighted before. The CRD Dashboard is regularly used by the Director of Constituent Research & Development to 1) track progress on team goals 2) measure volume of work and 3) keep senior leadership informed. The dashboard has been viewed more than 50 times since its launch 3 months ago.
