Title of entry: A Cut Above

About this entry: A public relations manager for Stanford's Residential & Dining Enterprises gave us a heads up that Ana Ziadeh had reached her 50th work anniversary at Stanford—a rare and noteworthy accomplishment. Our in-house videographer/photographer, Erin Attkisson, and senior editor Jill Patton headed over to Wilbur Dining Hall to spend a couple hours with Ana and her closest coworkers to hear her life story and about her 50 years at Stanford. Jill conducted the interview in both English and Spanish, as needed. Erin captured dozens of fantastic photographs (next time—a photo essay!). The story garnered more than 2,500 views online and a healthy amount of sharing via social media and chatter around the university.
