About this entry: When UC Davis Veterinary Medicine launched a new magazine in 2020 called Synergy, the publication was designed to appeal to both alumni and external donors, most of whom are hospital clients. One Synergy ongoing feature that came from that we call internally News You Can Use, which every issue provides practical advice that is both appealing to our donor readers as well as providing information that our alumni can provide to their clients. We wanted this section to be distinctive and immediately recognizable, so we worked with the design firm, CMB Design, to create an illustrated style that appears in every issue.
