Title of entry: Give Day Video Stewardship
About this entry: This entry represents our Give Day Stewardship Video project. This stewardship initiative is targeted at our Give Day challenge donors and provides them with a short thank you video and email. The level of video personalization varies per donor, and is based on the level of their challenge. The purpose of this stewardship piece is to provide a meaningful touchpoint to express gratitude for their participation in Give Day and for their commitment to the future of UC Davis.
The videos are typically no longer than 45 seconds in length and are sent to donors via ThankView. The videos are filmed by members of the UC Davis Student Foundation Board, student athletes and, on occasion, our Vice Chancellor of Development and Alumni Relations. The videos are delivered via email through the ThankView platform, and contain the donor name(s) and a short thank you for their support of their challenge area. Upon opening the video there is a Give Day branded title slide that features an image related to the challenge area. After the title slide, the video plays followed by an outro slide with the UC Davis logo. Donors who created a challenge of $15,000, or above, received a video that mentions them by name and makes a connection between their area of giving and the overall future of UC Davis. Donors whose challenges were below $15,000 received a video that was specific to their area of giving, but did not specifically mention the name of their specific challenge.
