Title of entry: Dean’s Dinner Video Series (5 short videos)

About this entry: Every autumn, the College of Agricultural Sciences at Oregon State University hosts an annual Dean’s Dinner to bring together stakeholders and foster community around the theme of fall harvest. Awards are given to alumni at various stages in their careers, and one significant stakeholder is given a college Hall of Fame award.

For each award, we produced a short video that was shown at the dinner to a crowd of over 200 alumni, faculty, and stakeholders. The videos highlight the achievements and impact of each alumnus in their respective industries and trace their career journeys back to their beginnings at OSU.

We produced these videos not only to highlight the impact of our graduates, but to foster a sense of community that helps alumni and stakeholders stay connected and engaged with the College. Following the dinner, the videos were posted on our College website as an article with video embeds. Write-ups of each video and award recipient were also included in our College’s bi-annual magazine, with a circulation around 12,000.
