About this entry: Saint Louis University’s campus tour is often a hallmark moment on a student’s journey to becoming a Billiken. As in-person campus tours became less accessible due to COVID-19 restrictions and safety concerns, our team sought to bring the experience to those who couldn’t travel for a visit. By reusing footage from pre-pandemic shoots, as well as new aerial footage and a new voiceover, we created a five-minute video exploring SLU’s St. Louis, Missouri campus, including iconic outdoor spaces, academic buildings and residence halls. The completed video was shared on multiple social media channels, including Facebook and Youtube, garnering impressive engagement and reach. Additionally, the video is prominently featured on SLU’s website, both in the admissions section and the homepage. Now, more than a year after being posted, the YouTube video continues to be in our top-15 viewed videos on YouTube week after week.
