About this entry: As Auburn University moved toward a brand refresh, we developed “In Auburn,” a multi-faceted campaign to push the Auburn name beyond traditional means. Using several mediums, including our “halftime commercial,” social media, a website and digital ads we were able to effectively communicate elements of our updated brand identity to millions of people across the country. This campaign served as the launch of an Auburn University brand update that had not been done in more than 10 years. We offered more forward-thinking messaging, refined logos, cleaner fonts and better collegiate visual assets. From strategic collaboration to reaching beyond traditional forms of communication, our campaign achieved a level of success that provided the momentum needed to move forward with our broader branding update. This campaign served as the foundation we needed and our return on investment speaks for itself as we gained thousands of new followers, positive comments and millions of eyes on Auburn that we never would have been able to have reached otherwise.
