Title of entry: UGA Thanksgiving VIDEO

About this entry: We created a fun, entertaining and heartfelt video that both celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday as well as our donors. The humor came in the form of our beloved Hairy Dawg’s attempt at cooking a Thanksgiving feast. After attempting to create the perfect pumpkin pie (complete with the biggest whisk we’ve ever seen), Hairy discovers the one missing ingredient is gratitude. Our goal was to make our audience laugh first and feel the warm fuzzies at the end with our message of thanks spelled out in whipped cream on the pie. The entire video was concepted, developed and executed in-house with our Donor Relations team and Communications team. We sent the video out initially in a special email specifically for donors the week of Thanksgiving. We subsequently posted to all of our social channels just before the holiday. We reached just under 7,000 views on YouTube with a 99.3% like rating.
