Title of entry: Wheelers Hill Grammarian Wall

About this entry: In 2022 the Caulfield Grammarians’ Association (CGA) together with Caulfield Grammar School installed a Grammarian Wall at the school's Wheelers Hill Campus. This wall delivers maximum impact as it is in the Memorial Hall (a key entry point on the campus) and is a significant size (3020mm high x 10,030mm wide plus an additional 2 pillars). This project used innovative design to transform one wall into a visual space for the whole school community to enjoy and experience.

The Grammarian Wall brings our alumni stories alive in an accessible manner, showcasing the diversity and excellence of our community. It features written alumni profiles and alumni videos on an interactive screen that can be regularly replaced to keep the content fresh and engaging. The wall also celebrates our rich history through the inclusion of historical/archival images and a brief history of each campus.

The purpose of this wall was to inspire generations of students and families by clearly demonstrating the value of a Caulfield Grammar School education and foster pride in being an alumnus.

The project was a huge success in raising the profile of our alumni organisation within the school, creating positive word of mouth and delivering on our strategic priority of building community.
