Title of entry: Pride of the North Celebrates 25 Years

About this entry: The Pride of the North Marching Band at the University of North Dakota was celebrating its 25th anniversary during Homecoming 2022 with alumni returning to campus to march with the band in the Homecoming Parade. While their had been marching bands throughout UND's history, The Pride was founded at a time when marching and pep bands had virtually disappeared from campus.

In addition to a magazine story about the Homecoming Pride reunion, the writer also produced a video that readers could watch by scanning a QR code included with the story. Rather than just repeating the magazine story in video form, the video instead was a behind-the-performance look at what the band goes through to get ready for a halftime show.

In another behind-the-scenes video shared on social media, we took viewers to the photo shoot conducted with some of the members of the band.
