About this entry: This entry consists of two episodes of LMU Magazine's podcast, titled Off Press: an episode about America's opioid crisis, "Rebecca Delfino on the Opioid Crisis," and one about climate change, "Eric Strauss on Climate Change." Delfino is Clinical Professor of Law at LMU Loyola Law School. Strauss is President's Professor of Biology and the director of the Center for Urban Resilience at LMU.

Off Press is the occasional podcast of LMU Magazine. The podcast consists of one-on-one interviews, usually with guests who are LMU faculty, staff or alumni. Off Press almost always focuses on broad areas of social interest, in order to appeal to both the LMU community and the general public. Interviews are produced to meet marketplace standards for informational quality and production values. The goal of Off Press is to contribute to a better understanding of important social and community issues and to highlight LMU faculty and alumni as thought-leaders in the marketplace of ideas. Off Press has twice been honored in journalism competitions hosted by the Los Angeles Press Club, including a first place award.
