Title of entry: Making Sense of Events: Measuring Event ROI at UC Davis

About this entry: The Advancement Services unit at UC Davis helped the Cal Aggie Alumni Association (CAAA) track and measure the ROI of all their events. To achieve this, they undertook a four-pronged approach: cleaning up old event data, standardizing new data capture, creatively repurposing fields in Advance to store the data, and building a robust set of dashboard reports using Power BI. Now CAAA can easily see which events resulted in more memberships/dollars raised -- all at the click of a few buttons!
