About this entry: When WWU storytellers John Thompson and Sean Curtis Patrick accompanied a group of students and faculty on a study abroad tri to Ecuador, we made the most of the stories, photographs, videos and audio footage they produced.

Of course the images and stories were compelling and gorgeous, but more importantly, the trip in and of itself was a perfect example of the kinds of learning environment Western is known for: powerful learning opportunities, student-faculty mentorship, environmental exploration and personal connections.
