Title of entry: Seattle University Magazine: "Leadership Ushers in New Era at SU"

About this entry: With the fall 2022 edition of Seattle University Magazine, the objective was to showcase and elevate the new hires in leadership—three deans and three vice presidents—that represent diversity and inclusion and are helping chart the next phase or the future of the university. The issue is anchored by this story featuring digestible storytelling covering all six and photographs that were shot in a studio for consistency and dynamism. The issue also featured strong profiles featuring alumni making a difference in their communities, professionally and, in some cases, on a global scale.

The combination of compelling stories, striking photography and top-tier design make for a cohesive issue and one that to date is among the most requested for additional copies. At the heart of what we do with this magazine is to tell the stories that matter, connecting our campus community and alumni to the mission of SU and provide insights into all the ways the university is unique.

Also submitted: The Spring 2022 issue, which was anchored by a cover story on the official opening and user-experience of our Sinegal Center for Science and Innovation, a $123 million building that is the future of STEM. It is deemed the "new" heart of the campus, showcasing the best and brightest in faculty and staff, technology and research advancements. Like the fall edition, this magazine features interesting people, places and programs enhanced by photography, illustrations and design.
