About this entry: The decision to launch HKS on the Road was driven by several key factors. After 2.5 years of virtual engagement due to the pandemic, our team was eager to reconnect with our communities in a more tangible and personal manner. The opportunity to step out from behind screens and engage face-to-face with our supporters and stakeholders was refreshing and essential for fostering meaningful connections and reigniting enthusiasm for our mission.

HKS on the Road shined a spotlight on the invaluable work of our faculty, both established and newly appointed. By bringing our esteemed educators directly to our audiences around the globe, we showcased their expertise, research, and impact on pressing societal issues. This bolstered our institutional reputation and provided a platform for faculty members to directly engage with alumni, donors, and community members, further strengthening our network and support base.

At the heart of our initiative was a strategic focus on increasing overall engagement and philanthropic giving. By curating a range of events and activities tailored to different donor segments, we created meaningful touchpoints that resonated with individuals at all levels of involvement. From intimate gatherings highlighting specific areas of interest to larger-scale alumni receptions celebrating our collective achievements, HKS on the Road was designed to cultivate a culture of philanthropy and deepen connections with our supporters.
