About this entry: In the spring and summer of 2023, campus visits to Providence College by prospective students and families had surpassed pre-pandemic attendance records. The admission office also noticed that many families were often coming to campus outside of scheduled visitor programming. This presented two problems: 1. Visitors were stuck trying to navigate a sprawling, unfamiliar campus on their own and 2. our admission staff was unable to capture information about the visitors and thereby couldn't include them in the appropriate inquiry communications stream. The solution? A self-guided audio tour with multichannel access and a new inquiry form for prospective students. Since the tour launched in late August 2023, it has achieved 800+ Spotify downloads and generated 285 Slate inquiry form submissions.
