About this entry: For the first time, we made the bold decision to hire a first-year student as an intern within our marketing department. Conventional wisdom would be to hire a student with greater knowledge of the college and more refined experience, however our goal in mind was to tell the unique story of the first-year experience through the eyes of a student living it, in order to pique the interest of future prospective students.

A day in the life of a first-year student moving into college is something I had never come across before in competitive analysis. The impact of our piece was spectacular. Despite currently having 1,116 TikTok followers, the video has since been viewed 6,404 times, with 211 likes and 16 shares.
