Title of entry: Trustee Coffee and Conversation Series

About this entry: We launched a series of live online programming for donors to the Dartmouth College Fund at the level of $10K+ to offer these loyal and generous members insider access to Dartmouth leaders and administrators. (Note: one of the events was for donors at the $5K + level).
Using research and analysis from broad Advancement surveys, and post event surveys from prior FY DCF programming, selected three topics that this audience showed interest in.
Identified Trustees who, due their committee involvement, could speak to these topics from the trustee point of view. Paired each trustee with a Dartmouth administrator to add depth to the conversation.
Our live online programs feature a 12-minute discussion between advertised speakers, and then the conversation is moderated by one of our three giving society co-chairs, and the audience is invited to raise their virtual hand. They are then spotlit, unmuted, and have the chance to converse directly with esteemed leaders. Using Zoom as the platform and requesting guests join with their cameras on, provides a feeling of sitting around a table all together. These 45-minute programs are a fast-paced and impactful way to provide insider access to Dartmouth leadership.
