About this entry: In 26 years, Brooke Kotrla Baldwin left a legacy of compassion and courage. The former Texas Tech University Pom member lost her six-year battle with brain cancer in May of 2023, but her endearing and indomitable spirit has forever left an impression not only on the Pom program and her family but on Texas Tech as well. It was her compassionate spirit and what many in Texas call grit that may best exemplify what it means to be a Texas Tech Red Raider.
