About this entry: Sooner Magazine enlivens its pages with bold images, compelling stories and small moments that help alumni and friends connect to the University of Oklahoma. With the assistance of one of the state's most decorated graphic designers and talented freelance writers and photographers, our stories and images focus on the people and programs that make OU special.

Feedback from readers has been extremely positive, including from those who have backgrounds in journalism and publishing. We expanded our e-mail "blast" digital distribution to all alumni and donors in 2023, and dozens of additional people signed up independently after the publication of each issue to begin receiving our digital distribution.

Sooner Magazine is nearly a century old and instills a sense of pride and belonging, engaging our readers in the university's most important mission - we change lives.
