About this entry: Sooner Magazine experienced a refresh in 2023 under the direction of award-winning freelance graphic designer Steven Walker of Walker Creative Inc. Steven enlivened the magazine with a layout featuring bolder graphics; elegant use of white space; large, impactful photographs; and clean, flowing type. Sooner Magazine incorporates illustrations in each issue that begin with the artistic skills of Walker Creative designers and employ AI tools, allowing us the luxury of creating beautiful images at $50 each. Feedback from alumni, donors and university colleagues has been extremely positive and gratifying.
