Each issue features stories highlighting the impact of philanthropy on the institution's mission. Feature stories showcase opportunities and gifts to the institution that advance the innovative research, exceptional clinical care, and leading-edge education and training that underpin UT Southwestern's reputation as one of the nation's leading academic medical centers.

As Pathways entered its third year of publication, we looked for ways to refine the content strategy and art direction of the magazine in a way that continued to build on our momentum. We looked for ways to further invest in design choices that had resonated with readers – uninterrupted articles, concept-driven art direction, and impact-driven writing – while evolving the design.

The resulting issues published across 2023 demonstrated a more refined and cohesive publication that empowered writers and designers to tell more feature oriented stories, leveraging the power of storytelling and design to showcase philanthropy's impact.
