About this entry: Ohio Wesleyan produces an annual calendar, which is a significant cultivation point for donors. The calendar is also distributed to all faculty and staff. This year, we decided to work with an illustrator to capture scenes from campus in a style that is reminiscent of a vintage travel poster. With a new president at the helm, it is an exciting time for OWU and we look to the future. However, we deliberately chose a calendar theme that would spark a sense of nostalgia and longing for Ohio Wesleyan. Our constituents love to see pictures of campus, and we chose to present those images in a unique way that extends beyond typical campus beauty photos. The response has been enthusiastic with recipients asking for additional copies and indicating that they would like to see similar illustrations of other campus locations.
