Title of entry: Missouri S&T’s College of Arts, Sciences, and Education Annual Report

About this entry: In 2023, Missouri S&T’s College of Arts, Sciences, and Education published its first annual report to highlight the accomplishments of the previous year (2022). It was sent to all alumni, recent donors and friends of the college.

In previous years, the college had communicated updates about the college via mass email once every 4 months. In the summer of 2022, Missouri S&T hired a new vice provost and dean to lead the college. One of the first projects he wanted the marketing and communications department to produce was an annual report for the year. S&T’s team established a working group of writers, designers, photographers, faculty, researchers and academic leaders to produce a printed report.

The report shows the width and breadth of the college, which is one of the most diverse groups in higher education, with its academic departments including such programs as Army ROTC, Physics, Education, Psychology and performing arts. To show off the 12 departments in 16 total pages including covers, the team had to think strategically while balancing the priorities of the college.
