Title of entry: Campaign for CMC: Responsible Leadership Makes History

About this entry: Claremont McKenna College made history on June 30, 2023 as the first liberal arts college to surpass $1B raised in a single campaign through the success of the Campaign for CMC: Responsible Leadership. The final result surpassed the initial goal of $800M and was reached through the generous support of more than 12,000 alumni, parents and friends. The campaign was focused on three key initiatives, Honoring our Leadership Mission, Preparing Leaders Through Integrated Sciences and Expanding Student Opportunities. Guided by an unwavering commitment to our founding mission, this comprehensive campaign effort furthered CMC’s evolution, growth, and success and will assist the College in creating future generations of responsible leaders in business, government, and the professions.
