About this entry: The Banner magazine serves as the official publication of Seoul Foreign School, published bi-annually and reaching approximately 10,000 readers, including its digital version. In 2023, the magazine underwent a significant transformation. Departing from its traditional format, The Banner now aims to engage not only the immediate school community but also a broader audience. Our goal is to ensure that the entire SFS community, including younger students, finds enjoyment and relevance in the magazine. To cater to our younger audience, we have introduced four pages of interactive games, fostering a sense of ownership and inclusivity.

Furthermore, we have completely overhauled the layout, infusing The Banner with an artistic essence characterized by spacious pages, high-quality photographs akin to those found in upscale magazines, and visually striking elements. Each edition revolves around a central theme aligned with the school's strategic direction, adding depth and coherence to our content.

The impact of this rebranding initiative has been substantial. We have witnessed a remarkable 27% increase in readership, indicative of the magazine's enhanced appeal. Additionally, we have received requests for the magazine from alumni worldwide, underscoring its newfound relevance and resonance beyond the school's immediate sphere.
