Title of entry: Miami Designer Takes Her Talents to Cleveland

About this entry: Miami University’s Storytelling Team interviewed a graphic design alumna, who now serves as the art director for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the NBA. During the team’s chat with the alumna, the cameras were rolling to capture her creativity, leadership, and success as she discussed how she helped brand a historic game that the Cavaliers played in Paris.

The target audiences for this video include Miami students, faculty, and staff; prospective students and their families; and the community. Our goals were to showcase the remarkable work and leadership of this alumna, shining a light on how a Miami education can help prepare our students for success and to make a difference in the world.

To create the story, the Storytelling team traveled to Cleveland to interview, film, and photograph the alumna.

The story and video appeared on Miami’s News homepage. It reached potential viewers through an email sent to the Miami community, through organic social media channels, and via our blog. The story generated 581 views on Miami’s website.
