About this entry: Engineering is a vital field with the capability to address some of the world's most pressing challenges. Students and professors at Iowa State are often engaged in techniques and concepts that have the potential to improve the world significantly. My goal is to reflect this inspiring spirit of optimism and potential through my portraits, highlighting the positive impact of engineering on our future. Whether I am capturing the image of an engineering student at work or a professor engaged in research, I aim to convey a sense of hope and possibility. We have many different audiences we serve for the portraits included, but the goal for me is almost always the same: make it engaging.
