About this entry: Beginning on Thursday, October 7, at 12:01 A.M. and concluding at 11:59 P.M., the Office of Philanthropic Engagement in partnership with the Office of Alumni Engagement, Marketing and Communications, Technical Systems and Support, and support from across Advancement and External Affairs launched the fifth annual Boost the ’Cuse: Syracuse University’s Day of Giving. This effort had goals of 5,000 donors and reinvigorating philanthropic giving to the University as part of the Forever Orange capital campaign. This year’s results exceeded expectations by ending with 6,220 donors and over $1.3 million to support current students.
With a revamped VIP (Very Influential Person) program, new interactive giving quiz, incredible campus activities (included a huge increase in student giving participation) and a restructure to a cause-based giving layout instead of University organization driven choices, this giving day brought Boost the ’Cuse up to a new level.
