About this entry: Trending Globally is a biweekly podcast that explores some of the biggest policy challenges of our time with help of the worlds’ leading experts. By drawing on the faculty and researchers at Brown University’s Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs to explore pressing global issues, the show provides unique angles and essential context to the headlines of the day.

We thought there would be a significant audience for analysis and commentary by our community of scholars, which is what initially led us to produce this podcast in-house. Our small team (1 full-time producer/host and 1 part-time producer) has created a show that broadcasts the work being done at our institute to thousands of listeners in over 40 countries around the world.
